One of the staples of Rotel’s product design philosophy is making it integration friendly. To that end all Rotel products include various control features such as rear panel IR inputs, 12-volt trigger inputs and outputs, input signal sensing, and 2-way RS232 and IP control.

As part of our efforts to make selling and installing Rotel products as easy as possible, we work with many of the major control system manufacturers to ensure Rotel control codes and protocols are integrated into their control system libraries.

To that end, we are pleased to announce the addition of a new Control System Resources section on rotel.com, where we will host useful files and resources to use when installing Rotel products with a control system.

The first addition to this new page is a full suite of 2-way serial drivers for Control4 for all 14 and 15 series models that include RS232 control. All of these drivers have been written and tested in-house by Rotel, and we are also working with Control4 to have many of these drivers Control4 Certified in the near future as well.
